Yep, another one bites the dust, I have at long last decided to join the ranks of bloggers, hurrah! I’m not very inclined to keep a diary, I have such a terrible memory it just wouldn’t get updated : ). But with challenge and dare blogs on the increase, it does seem a good way of sharing crafty creations, so here we are.
This blog is part of a website I have been intending to set up ever since DH bought me the domain name as an extra Christmas present 2 years ago! (We live in Hawthorne Cottage, and I like all things rural and rustic, so the name just seemed to fit.) For a while I’ve thought it would be useful to have somewhere I can display what I do, somewhere to show potential customers some examples. I can’t see myself ever running it as a shop, but then I always said I would never start scrapping, and never have a blog, so……
I really should pop a photo on my first post, so thought I’d be brave and show my face:

DH took this, he is a photographer (very part-time, it’s not his day-job, but extremely successful so far), so I get studio-quality piccies, mainly of the boys, on a regular basis, FOR FREE! A scrapper’s dream.
All for now, I’ll try and do a crafty show ‘n’ tell later : ) .
xx

Welcome to Blogland Nicky.
Hi Nicky and welcome to the wonderful world of blogging. I’ve never managed to keep any sort of diary before, but I started my blog in May and here I am still blogging away – it’s such a fab way to share your crafting and keep in touch with old firends – as well as make loads and loads of new ones.
It’s also a very good way to while away hours and hours – which is maybe not such a good thing!
